Is coaching expensive?

No one can afford coaching. Yes I did say that. And I'm a coach. Hear me out...

If you’re considering coaching there is definitely something else that you could spend that money on.

A family day out. Some new clothes. Decorating the house. A holiday.

However if you’re considering coaching, something isn’t quite right. You’ve probably already invested quite a lot of your (precious) time thinking, talking about and exploring some solutions. You might have bought a book or two or signed up to an online webinar. £20 here and there adds up. But something still isn’t right and it’s bothering you.

So you’ve already invested time and money and you haven’t got the answer yet. In fact you might be even more confused.

Is coaching expensive? Well, it's all relative.

Is coaching more expensive than a new top from your favourite high street store? Yes it is. Is coaching more expensive than a holiday? Possibly, depending on how you much you spend on a holiday. The thing is your top and holiday are lovely things to be enjoyed and cherished but that’s about it.

An investment in coaching on the other hand could significantly change your life.

  • My clients have finally moved to the seaside after procrastinating for years.
  • My clients have got new jobs with £20k pay rises because they had the confidence to negotiate.
  • My clients have started businesses from scratch.
  • My clients have had difficult conversations with difficult bosses and made work better.
  • My clients have come to me because they felt stuck in a rut and our time together has marked the start of their next chapter.

Some people choose a holiday and some choose to spend on their own self development. Some people choose a new wardrobe and others make a decision to get some help. My clients make a financial and time commitment to their future self knowing that one day they’ll look back and know that that was when things started to change. They’ll know because they were the ones changing it.

I can’t guarantee results because you’re in charge of taking the action and making the changes but I will promise that I’ll be your sounding board and cheerleader. I’ll show up and give you my undivided attention. I’ll hold the space and ask you more questions than you’ve ever been asked.

So is coaching expensive? Yes, I suppose so if you’re comparing it to the cost of a new top. Find out how much I charge here. Is it worth it? 100% but don’t ask me, see what my clients say.

The truth is no one can afford coaching but depending on your current challenge can you afford not to?
